Union Home Minister Amit Shah met on Monday with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Intelligence Bureau Chief Arvind Kumar and senior officials in Jammu and Kashmir to review the scenario. Sources said authorities briefed Shah on the current scenario in Jammu and Kashmir following the opening of 190 schools in the Valley. Following the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir's unique status, no violence has been recorded to date except one or two conflicts over the previous week.Normal life has been restored in the Jammu region with internet services snapped from just a few pockets in the region. Some major decisions were taken in the Jammu and Kashmir meeting to restore normal life.
