Ghaziabad MLA Nand Kishore Gujjar: 'Big Boss' show demeanin

Thursday,10 Oct 2019

BJP MLA from Ghaziabad, Nand Kishore Gujjar wrote a letter to Prakash Javdekar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, requesting that the Salman Khan's reality show "Bigg Boss" be taken off the air. The BJP legislator argued that the "show encouraged obscenity and vulgarity and was inappropriate for viewing with the family.  "Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the one hand, attempts to restore India's lost glory and, on the other hand, these shows have degraded the culture of the country," he wrote. The Brahmin Mahasabha also sought an immediate effect ban on the reality show. In this regard, the Mahasabha submitted a memorandum to the  Ghaziabad district magistrate.
