Storm wreaks havoc in North India; 41 killed

The heavy thunderstorm and sandstorm that have been disrupting the life of many people in northern part of the country for the last few weeks had wreaked havoc yesterday , killing 41 and injuring many.
The thunderstorm and dust storm became a villain especially in Delhi, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The weather has warned of more danger in the next two days.
18 people died in Uttar Pradesh, 12 died in Bengal including four children, 9 in Andhra and 2 people died in Delhi.
The devastating storm had brought down many trees and electric posts that increased the misery of people. Road, rail and air transportation disrupted in many parts of the country as 70 flights were diverted and more than 24 flights had been delayed. Many metro services also reportedly delayed.
