New Delhi: On Monday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis arrived at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's official residence to hold a meeting with the Minister of the Union. According to sources, Fadnavis is meeting with Shah to request more Central Government assistance for farmers affected in Maharashtra due to unseasonal rain. "We have approved Rs 10,000 crore already. The state government stands firmly with farmers whose crops are destroyed by heavy rains, and they will be provided with all the necessary steps and assistance, "he said.
