A Delhi court Thursday extended the former finance minister P Chidambaram's judicial custody in the INX Media corruption case until October 17. On May 15, 2017, the CBI recorded an FIR alleging irregularities in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance given to the INX Media group during Chidambaram's tenure as finance minister for obtaining Rs 305 crore foreign funds in 2007.
