Patna: A total of 30 people, including 18 children, died in separate wall collapse, stampede, and drowning in various parts of Bihar during the "Chath" festival that ended on Sunday, police said. The wall collapsed about 6.30 am, when the devotees prepared to leave the ghat after offering ' arghya, ' said Chandrakant Gauri, Police officials said. The injured devotees have been admitted to Hasanpur primary health centre. A 35-year-old man died in drowning incidents after entering a pond in the village of Khajuri in Samastipur district, said Sarairanjanj BDO Gangasagar Singh. Four persons drowned and one has gone missing in different ponds on Saturday evening in Bhagalpur district.
