Jaipur: The 108-kilometer railway track between Sawai Madhopur and Kota in Rajasthan has been equipped with the ‘Kavach 4.0’, a railway protection system. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made a trial journey by the train on Tuesday.
He said that the facilities would greatly improve the lives of loco pilots and increase railway security. Most countries made such arrangements in the decades of 1970, 1980, and 1990.
But, the previous governments in India did not pay attention to this. Work on this was started immediately after the Modi government came to power in 2014.
