Shivraj Singh Chauhan Congratulates and Honours Lakhpati and Drone Didis

On the occasion of Independence Day, the country’s independence day, a tricolour campaign, coined ‘har Ghar Tiranga’, is being run in every house. In addition, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was in Madhya Pradesh to honour 75 lakhpati didis (sisters) and their families.

Under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women are given loans ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 5 lakh. They do not have to pay any interest on these loans.

Women can avail of interest-free loans under this scheme to start their businesses.
