New Delhi: RSS affiliate Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) bagged three of Delhi University Students ' Union (DUSU)'s top four main panel seats on Friday. The right wing organisation has repeated the achievement of their last year, winning chairman, vice president and joint secretary posts. The National Students Union of India (NSUI), backed by the Congress, settled for only one. ABVP's Ashwit Dahiya defeated NSUI's Chetna Tyagi with a margin of more than 19,000 votes for the top post. ABVP's Pradeep Tanwar and Shivangi Kharwal won the posts of vice president and joint secretary with a margin of 8,574 and 2,914 votes respectively. NSUI bagged the secretary’s post with its candidate Ashish Lamba defeating ABVP’s Yogi Rathee by a margin of 2,053 votes.
