Mumbai: On the joyous occasion of Holi recently, the Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Sammelan organised a grand “Hasya Kavi Sammelan” at the Nehru Auditorium in Worli. The event was held with great enthusiasm and splendour, featuring renowned poets from across the country. They entertained the audience with their humorous and satirical poetry, filling the auditorium with laughter and applause.
In the spirit of service, on this auspicious occasion, Sunil Tibrewal presented a cheque of ₹5 lakh as financial support for the first-ever arm replacement surgery to be conducted at K.E.M. Hospital.
The chief guests of the programme were judicial member advocate Ashok Jindal and Dr Omprakash Shete, chairman of Ayushman Bharat. On this occasion, the senior vice president of the Sammelan, Dr. Rajendra Agrawal, Mumbai Metropolitan president Shivkant Khetan, and national secretary Dr Suman Agrawal stated that the Agrawal community has always remained at the forefront of social service with a spirit of cooperation and dedication.
The event also saw the presence of celebrated poets of the country, Arun Jaimini, Anil Agravanshi, Shambhu Shikhar, Khushboo Sharma, and Hemant Pandey, who captivated the audience with their humorous performances and filled the evening with laughter and festive joy.
