Delhi has a new Chief Minister (CM).
Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi takes oath. At 43, she also became the youngest CM of Delhi. She is also the third woman CM of the Union Territory.
Five ministers, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot, Gopal Rai, Mukesh Ahlawat, and Imran Hussain, have also taken the oath with her.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena administered the oath to the new CM Atishi and the Ministers.
Outgoing CM Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the swearing-in ceremony. After taking oath as CM, Atishi touched Kejriwal’s feet and took his blessings.
