As part of the ongoing “Muslim Woman Programme” voter awareness campaign, Muslim women in South Mumbai have taken on the duty of educating voters about exercising their right to vote in the next Lok Sabha general elections in 2024. Mumbai will host the Lok Sabha elections on May 6.
The Indian general election 2024 in Maharashtra will be held in five stages, starting on April 19 and ending on May 20, 2024, to choose 48 members for the 18th Lok Sabha.
Mumbai represents six parliamentary constituencies. The main contenders in this contest are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Shinde and Uddhav factions of the Shiv Sena and the Congress party.
