Mumbai: Princess Astrid of Belgium, leading a 300-member economic mission to India, met with the Governor of Maharashtra, C. P. Radhakrishnan, at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai last Friday.
During the meeting, which included a high-level ministerial delegation, the Princess discussed various topics such as enhancing business and trade, promoting green energy, tourism, education, and cultural relations between India and Belgium.
The Governor presented Princess Astrid with a photo album featuring images from previous visits by members of the Belgian Royal family to Raj Bhavan.
Princess Astrid was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Prévot, Flanders Minister of Finance Matthias Diependaele, Belgian Ambassador to India Didier Vanderhasselt, Consul General in Mumbai Frank Geerkens, and her advisors Dirk Wouters and Brent Van Tassel. The Governor also provided a tour of Raj Bhavan for the Princess and her delegation.
