Mumbai: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been hospitalised to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital for a regular check-up, according to sources. The 77-year-old actor is still under observation. "Mr Bachchan had come for a routine check-up," a hospital staff said. He was taken to the hospital due to liver issues. Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that only 25 per cent of his liver is functional while the rest was damaged after a bad blood transfusion 20 years ago after he was seriously injured while shooting for 1983 film Coolie.

 

Meanwhile, amidst the reports of hospitalisation, Amitabh Bachchan was quite active on social media. On Thursday, he shared a post of karwa chouth with his wife.
