President of India Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari over the telephone and greeted him on his 79^th birthday.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met Governor Koshyari at Raj Bhavan and greeted the Governor on the latter’s birthday.

Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, Minister of Public Health Rajesh Tope, Mayor of Mumbai Kishori Pednekar, Chairman of Rest of Maharashtra Development Board Yogesh Jadhav, Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte, Commissioner of Police Hemant Nagrale, Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Suhas Pednekar, SNDT Women’s University Vice Chancellor Shashikala Wanjai also met the Governor and greeted him.

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Teerath Singh Rawat, former Chief Minister Narayan Rane, MP Arvind Sawant also conveyed their greetings to the Governor.
