Mumbai: With the new lockdown guidelines in force from May 4, many shopkeepers were confused as to which shops to remain open and which should not. With the result, most of the shops in Matunga market area were closed except medical, provisions and stand-alone shops. One said we will wait and watch for a day or two. Moreover, the workers in the shops had to come from far away places and there is no train to commute. This will be the main hurdles for them to reopen the shops.
