Major fire engulfed the Shalimar building in the Lawrence Compound near Khira Industrial Estate, at Santacruz West in Mumbai.

The mobile tower of the building was totally damaged and burned though the firefighters had rushed on to the spot immediately. No casualties have been reported so far.
