Mumbai: Flight activities at the  Mumbai airport were partly disrupted on Wednesday owing to incessant rains in the town since Tuesday, with around 20 flights canceled and another 280 delayed.

The operation of Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), was "normal." Due to unprecedented rainfall, almost 24 flights were kept on the floor until 23:30 hrs. As a consequence of collective attempts, five flights left between 10:30 p.m. and 11:10 p.m., the airport authorities said in a declaration.
