Mumbai: The next government of Maharashtra will be led by the Shiv Sena and the Common Minimum Program (CMP) being worked out together with Congress and the NCP will be in the "state interest" ahead of its creation, said party spokesman Sanjay Raut on Friday. For the next "25 years," not just five years, the Uddhav Thackeray-led party will lead the government in Maharashtra, Raut said while talking to reporters in Mumbai. The Rajya Sabha MP, who turned 58 on Friday, answered questions as to whether his party is going to share the post of chief minister with the NCP and Congress, its allies in the prospective government of three parties. Talks are on with the Congress and the NCP to work out a common minimum programme which will be in the interest of the state and its people," he said.
