Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari visited the Asiatic Society of Mumbai on the occasion of its 216th Foundation Day and and saw the collection of books, manuscripts, maps, coins and rare artefacts.

Vice Admiral Ajit Kumar P, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command, Dr Anil Kakodkar, former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India, Dr Bhalchandra Munagekar, former Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai, Sharad Kale, former President of Asiatic Society and Prof. Vispi Balaporia, President of the Society and members of the Managing Committee of the Society were present. The Governor is the Patron of Asiatic Society.
