New Delhi:On Tuesday, a Delhi tribunal summoned Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and three other leaders of the AAP as accused by BJP leader Karan Singh Tanwar in a defamation complaint.

Special Judge Samar Vishal has summoned Kejriwal and AAP politicians Amanatullah Khan, Dilip Pandey and Surendra Kumar to be charged with defamation offenses under section 500 of the Indian Penal Code. The tribunal asked the chief of the AAP and three others to appear on August 7 before it.

Tanwar lodged a case against the rulers of the AAP alleging that they accused him of involvement in the murder of an offical M.M. of the NDMC. Khan, who in 2016 was shot dead. The chief of the BJP claimed that the CM had "maligned his picture along with others and ruined his political life."
