Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presented the Arutchelvar Dr N Mahalingam Award to renowned industrialist and Chairman of Force Motors Ltd Dr. Abhay Firodia at a function held in Coimbatore recently.
This prestigious award was instituted by the Kumaraguru Institutions, Coimbatore in 2014 in memory of its founder Dr N. Mahalingam to recognise distinguished individuals who have contributed to the cause of nation-building through various fields including education, industry and society.
B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman, Kumaraguru Institutions, M Manickam, Vice Chairman, Shankar Vanavarayar, President, and Dr M Balasubramaniam were among those present.
