Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh):  Leopard entered campus at Government school Keeratpur village on Wednesday and attacked a dog while the frightened children ran to the classroom and locked in to be safe.

Wednesday a leopard from nearby fields entered into the school, the children seeing the leopard locked themselves in the classroom. The children told the incident to  Principal Nidhi Diwakar and she immediately informed the forest department. To ensure security of the children Police deploy armed security at school from Thursday

village head Ranjit Singh Head of the village, asked villagers to accompany children to the school in groups to ensure the security of children.
