Mumbai Dabbawalas
Meanwhile, the Tiffin Box Suppliers’ Association, commonly known as Mumbai’s dabbawalas, plays an integral role in the city’s daily life. For more than a century, dabbawalas have been delivering lunch boxes primarily to office-goers and others in need.
Moreover, Mumbai’s dabbawalas share a unique connection with Britain’s King Charles III; they were invited to his wedding to Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005 and later to Charles’ coronation.
