Mumbai: On Constitution Day, observed on Wednesday (26th November), officers and staff of the Maharashtra Raj Bhavan commemorated the occasion by solemnly reading out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to democratic values and constitutional principles.
The Secretary to the Governor, Dr Prashant Narnaware, read the preamble of the Constitution of India in the presence of the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan.
Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan and police personnel posted there reiterated the nation’s resolve to constitute India into a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic on the occasion.
Deputy Secretary to the Governor S. Ramamoorthy, Comptroller of the Governor’s Households Dr Nishikant Deshpande, ADC to the Governor Abhaysinha Deshmukh and staff and officers of Raj Bhavan were present.
