Mumbai: A pregnant lady gave birth to a child on a local train in Mumbai on Saturday, authorities said. The woman traveled from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Thane Station when she started to experience pain in her abdomen. 

She went  tolabour and delivered a baby kid while the train was on its way to Thane Railway Station.

The woman was later taken to the Railway One Rupee Clinic at Thane Railway Station for emergency treatment, where both mother and child were attended by on-duty physicians. They were later transferred to the government hospital.
