Uttar Pradesh: On Monday, four unidentified bike riders shot dead Jitendra Yadav, a history-sheeter son of Samajwadi Party leader and district panchayat member, in Maharaj Ganj, Uttar Pradesh. One person was also injured in this firing, whose condition is serious. Fellow of SP leader has also been shot, whose condition is critical and has been admitted to the district hospital. Both the deceased and the injured are named Jitendra Yadav, and both were friends. Before two months ago, on October 7, Jitendra Yadav was shot by miscreants three times, but SP leader Jitendra survived that incident. In that incident, the police arrested the accused and sent them to jail, but relatives say that police did not help even after several times pleading for protection from the police, and now the SP leader was killed. Police have given the reason behind this murder to the old rivalry. After the murder in a broad daylight, the police have started an investigation. Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan said:" case has registered and miscreants will be arrested as soon as possible."
