The harvest festival Pongal was celebrated symbolically at Dharavi as the police denied permission to occupy the  90ft main road due to Pandemic. However, they allowed celebrating without making crowd. A few ladies joined together in front of the Shakti Vinayakar temple in Dharavi and others in small bylanes celebrated maintaining the rules. The huge crowd who generally come to witness the function was missing this year.
