Three family members were discovered hanging inside the Indian Technology Institute-premises in Delhi, police said on Saturday.

Bodies of Gulshan Das, a senior laboratory assistant at IIT's Department of Biochemistry, his wife Sunita and his mother Kamta were discovered hanging late Friday night inside Kumar's formal accommodation. No note of suicide has been retrieved, police said.

They had reached the IIT campus, according to police, after getting a panic call from Sunita's mom reporting domestic violence, who was unable to reach her daughter.

It was discovered bolted from the inside when it reached the flat. To discover three bodies hanging from the ceiling, the police smashed the gate open.
