Mumbai: A bankrupt cooperative lender's 83-year-old depositor died on Friday, which was due to the family's failure to raise funds to pay for critical heart surgery.
The deceased, 83-year-old Murlidhar Dharra, who has a deposit of Rs. 80 lakh in PMC Bank but was unable to withdraw the money because of the RBI restrictions.
