Mumbai: A 35-year-old woman, allegedly beaten by her boyfriend near Mankhurd railway station in Mumbai, died on her way to the hospital, police said on Sunday. She collapsed after her boyfriend Raju Pujari Yallapa allegedly slapped her on Saturday when he saw her talking to another person in the eastern suburb near a public toilet. "After being attacked by Yallapa, she collapsed and was declared dead upon arrival at Ghatkopar's Rajawadi Hospital, "the official said. "We are waiting for the post-mortem report to be followed by further intervention. Yallapa was arrested and a further investigation is being conducted, "police officials said.
