ME News Bureau : The Worli police have arrested 47-year-old  Ichmani Periswami Tewar, a resident of Dharavi and driver of the Mercedes-Benz after a 40-year-old woman was crushed to death near Sasmira College in Worli on Tuesday afternoon. Reports say that the woman was crossing the road even though it was a green signal for the vehicles when she was hit by the car. The victim has been identified as Sarika Santosh Wagh, a resident of Sewri. Sarika was crossing the road after dropping her son to Adarsh Nagar School in Worli when the car ran over her at 1:30 pm. Sarika Wagh lives with her husband Santosh an IT engineer, and a nine-year-old daughter. Icchmani has been arrested for rash driving and causing death by negligence.
