IB Notes Significant Change in Terror Tactics: ISI Directing Kashmiri Youth into Nationwide Modules

New Delhi: There is a clear connection between Jammu and Kashmir and the Delhi Red Fort blast case. Maulvi The Faridabad module, which is connected to the Delhi blast case, was managed by Jammu and Kashmir resident Irfan Ahmed. Dr Umar Nabi, the car bomber, also lived in Pulwama.

According to intelligence services, this indicates a distinct change in the way Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) intends to conduct its operations in India.

In the past, terror organisations with headquarters outside of Pakistan recruited their members to carry out operations in Jammu and Kashmir.

The latest trend, however, indicates that terrorist organisations wish to recruit people from Jammu and Kashmir and use them throughout the rest of the nation.

The goal of the ISI’s creation of terror organisations like Hizbul Mujahideen and The Resistance Front (TRF) was to have domestic groupings.

It was intended to give the impression that the people of Kashmir were the ones who desired the Union Territory’s independence from India.

The security forces in Jammu and Kashmir destroyed the ISI-controlled Hizbul Mujahideen, a domestic group.

All of the outfit’s top commanders were slain by the security forces after Burhan Wani was eliminated. As a result, TRF was established, with the majority of its recruits coming from Jammu & Kashmir.

To exact revenge for the Pahalgam attacks, the Indian military conducted Operation Sindoor.

After that, TRF disappeared from view. Since then, the ISI has made a concerted effort to establish a domestic organisation in Jammu and Kashmir, but has not been successful.

The JeM has been enlisting individuals from Jammu and Kashmir to carry out assaults in other regions of the nation, as evidenced by the Delhi blast.

More people from Jammu and Kashmir were being recruited by the JeM, which developed the Faridabad module, for the other modules throughout the nation.

According to officials, the ISI is adamant that it wants residents of Jammu and Kashmir to join these groups and launch strikes throughout the nation.

Separating Kashmiris from the rest of the nation is one of the primary goals.
Kashmir and the rest of India were on the verge of becoming divided after the Pahalgam incident. The Kashmiris became the target of abusive posts. The ISI plans to keep doing this to alienate the indigenous Kashmiris and persuade them to support its goals.

In Jammu and Kashmir, a lot has changed since Article 370 was repealed.

After a lengthy period of tranquillity, the inhabitants saw a surge in visitors. The villagers greatly profited from this.

According to an official, the ISI was unable to comprehend this change.
Additionally, the young people who typically threw stones moved away and started concentrating on their livelihood, which was detrimental to their objective.

A campaign was started by the ISI and JeM to choose individuals from Jammu and Kashmir to carry out strikes within the nation.

The Jamaat-e-Islami was also given the responsibility of finding individuals to carry out this mission. Over the past few days, there have been about 500 raids in Jammu and Kashmir as a result of the Intelligence Bureau identifying this terrorist group’s ruse.

According to an Intelligence Bureau officer, it is imperative to identify the small number of people who continue to support the ISI to prevent the issue from getting worse.
The Jamaat, an organisation that is prohibited in India, is the subject of ongoing raids in a number of places.

The organisations target both Jamaat members and those associated with Jaish-e-Mohammad.

The people who were responsible for putting the JeM posters in Jammu and Kashmir are also being scanned.

It made it quite evident that the ISI, with the Jamaat’s assistance, had started a large recruitment campaign to find people to join the various JeM modules around the nation.
