New Delhi: Fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya has moved the Supreme Court to seek a stay from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the confiscation of his assets.

After defaulting on bank loans worth Rs 9,000 crore in India, Mallya has fled from India and is presently facing extradition proceedings in the UK. His appeal will probably be drawn up for Monday's top court hearing.

His appeal is likely to be taken up for hearing by the top court on Monday.
