Mumbai: A 24-year-old man was booked by the Kurar police on Monday for supposedly stabbing his wife after she chose to end her friendship. The accused then jumped from the 10th floor flat of the lady to death while in a critical condition the woman was admitted to the hospital.The accused, who lived in Kurar's Ambedkar Nagar slums, went to the woman's home around 12 pm on Monday while she was alone. For one-and-a-half years they had known each other, police said.The police have booked the accused under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
