Mumbai: Britannica Education Western India Confluence 2025, held recently in Pune, brought together education leaders to foster discussions on collaboration, diversity and innovation in learning.

The event, which was associated with EduDrone – WE CONNECT, delved into the theme of ‘Collaboration, Diversity, and Innovation in Learning ‘, discussing pressing issues and exploring innovative solutions in the education sector.

The event highlighted the importance of inclusivity, leadership, and future-ready education, setting a strong foundation for continued collaboration in the Indian education sector.

The conference featured keynote speeches, debates, panel and round table discussions, and networking opportunities to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among institutions. The welcome address, delivered by Ryan Bangera, deputy general manager and Sal De Spirito, global president, shared Britannica’s 256-year journey, exploring the transformation of learning and the future of education.

One of the most engaging sessions was the fire-side conversation featuring Lt. Gen. Surendra Kulkarni, who discussed the balance between supporting students and building resilience.

The panel discussion on unifying educational diversity amidst India’s educational renaissance, moderated by Dr Kajal Chhatija, Founder & CEO of EduDrone – WE CONNECT, featured prominent educators who focused on integrating diverse educational approaches and fostering collaboration among institutions.

Furthermore, Dr Deepak Vohra, former Indian ambassador, delivered a keynote session on leadership lessons.

Next, a round-table discussion explored best practices for unifying diversity in education, with contributions from leading school principals and academic directors.

The event also included a special session for schools joining Britannica’s Collaborative Learning Community, reinforcing the importance of educational partnerships.
