SSC passed out students wanting to get into the college of their liking will find it very difficult, despite maximum students falling in the 90 plus score category.

 

Unlike last year this year college cut offs across all streams will either be higher or the same, but it won’t come down. College principals of city as well as suburban colleges  are not sure about how things might  work out this year, as there are fewer students in the very high bracket, but more in the 90% and above bracket.

 

Says Manasi Parekh a resident of Dadar who scored 91 % in her SSC, “ I am trying to get into St Xaviers college, but I am not sure if I will be able to get admission there as the cut offs will be above 95 %, hence I have also applied at two more other colleges.”
