Budgets extremely high for superhero films: Vivek Oberoi

Indulging in superhero films is not a cake walk, says Vivek Oberoi and adds that inflated budgets restrict the endeavours of filmmakers.
The 37-year-old had his stint with superhero film "Krrish 3", in which he played a villain opposite Hrithik Roshan in the title role. The successful franchise of "Koi… Mil Gaya" and "Krrish" was directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan.
Talking about the few superhero film in filmdom, Vivek told IANS, "The budgets of superhero films are extremely high. The subject should also be interesting and to back such a huge project, it takes a lot of effort. In India, we have our own mythological heroes, but it is not easy to make a superhero film."
He appreciates senior Roshan for his guts to make such films in Bollywood.
"Hat's off to Rakesh Roshan, who has the guts to make superhero films. The way he has made 'Krrish' franchise a successful one, it's certainly not an easy task," he said.
