Chinese company trying to

Kanye West may just get embroiled in a legal battle because a company has come out to compete for the right to use his Yeezy nickname.

Kanye's company was reportedly outmanoeuvred by a Chinese company that filed trademark paperwork in an effort to stake its claim to the popular Yeezy brand name.

Kanye's company has owned the name Yeezy for footwear since 2013, they however, abandoned the trademark for other clothing items besides shoes in 2017. The Chinese company named Fujian Baby Network Technology Co. filed trademark paperwork for the term ‘Yeezy Boost’ for its clothing products.

The I Love Kanye hitmaker’s company then re-filed the application for Yeezy clothing but may now have to wait and watch as the Chinese company has filed the paperwork for the same as well.
