Mumbai: The Rotary Club of Bombay launched, this week, a two-minute film on the plight of the Indie dogs.
The film was produced by Nabeel Abbas, Founder and CEO of Epigram, and stars actor Pooja Bhat, who has also lent her voice to the film. The script is by Anushree Kandalkar.
Says Ramesh Narayan, who conceived of this project, “everyone contributed their time and talent as a labour of love.” A profusely illustrated coffee table book called Missy’s Musings was also released on that day. This was designed by creative director Dhananjay Khotpal.
Adds Ramesh, “This is a small effort to position the Indie dog as a loving, caring, hardy brand, and the request to all readers and viewers is to share the message, Don’t Shop. Adopt an Indie”.
The book is a compilation of social media posts by Ramesh under the banner Missy’s Musings.
