'Insidious 3' to release in 2015

The third instalment of “Insidious” is slated to release April 3, 2015. Its shooting is yet to commence, reports variety.com. The first two films, starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, together earned close to $250 million worldwide.
Entertainment One, Film District and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions announced in September that they were developing the third part of the franchise after a strong opening for “Insidious: Chapter 2.”
Film District’s operations were merged into Focus Features in October.
The first two films also starred Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins and Barbara Hershey and were directed by James Wan. Wan is yet to confirm whether he will be part of “Insidious 3" or not.
Leigh Whannell, who worked on the first two scripts, is on board as scriptwriter.
Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions, which produced both “Insidious” films, is also on board to produce the third installment along with Oren Peli.
Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Peter Schlessel, Lia Buman and Xavier Marchand are executive producers.
