The first look of Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Romeo Akbar Walter was launched last year. However, the film was reportedly put on the back burner to accommodate the actor's other projects.

Sushant Singh Rajput was set to play an agent of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). But opted out of the film last August due to his busy schedule.

John Abraham is now set to step into Sushant Singh Rajput’s shoes as he is set to play the role in the film and he confirmed the same on Twitter as well.

The film will be helmed by Robbie Grewal and is set to go on floors in June. The film is said to be inspired by true events and is reported to be a thriller, set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
