Kareena Kapoor Khan recently spoke about her upcoming film Veere Di Wedding, she said, “It's a different kind of movie. It's a story of four friends. It's not the typical boy-meets-girl romance which I think I've done so much of. So I thought this should be different. It's a small film, made by women,” she added, “I think it's a special film and people will appreciate it.”

The first look of the film was unveiled last year in October and a new poster was released in January. The film is being helmed by Shashanka Ghosh and is set to release on June 1, 2018. It is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania in lead roles as well.
