Marvel recently released new Infinity stones themed film poster just few weeks ahead of its highly anticipated film Avengers: Infinity War.

The new film will see the Avengers face off against galactic villain Thanos, who is determined to acquire the six Infinity Stones that will grant him power over space, time and all reality. The six primary stones that the superheroes must protect from the hands of Thanos are the Mind Stone, the Soul Stone, the Space Stone, the Power Stone, the Time Stone and the Reality Stone.

The stones have made appearances in previous Marvel films as well as in the original Captain America: First Avengers, which introduced to the tessaract, which contains the blue Space Stone, the Aether or the Reality Stone made its appearance as a red floating liquid in Thor: The Dark World, the Orb or the Power Stone was seen in The Guardians of The Galaxy, in the film The Avengers, Loki's blue-glowing scepter was shown which however, housed a yellow infinity stone. The Mind Stone lets the owner control the minds of others. The stone can currently be found on Vision's forehead, the green gem in the amulet called the Eye of Agamotto (which Doctor Strange used to manipulate time) was the Time Stone, which explains his presence in Avengers: Infinity War, the Soul Stone however, hasn’t made an appearance in any of the movie so far, but it has been speculated that the stone lies in Wakanda.
