SRK turns 48, wants rebirth as actor

King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 48 Saturday celebrated his birthday with the media at his Mannat residence.
He said he would like to be reborn as an actor again and again.
"I would like to be reborn as an actor again and again. Acting is a noble profession and when I entered this industry, people asked me: Do you want to be a hero? I said I want to play character roles and there is a character in all my roles. I think acting is a noble expression of feeling," SRK told reporters.
The actor who started his career from television said he would like to participate in the TV again. He said, "If I have the time, I would like to do TV. The right opportunity should come and the time has to be right, then I will like to participate in TV."
Speaking to the media, he said, "I want to thank all of you for being here as I have always said I don't celebrate my birthdays but each year you all (media) make it special. I am only thankful to God for this life."
"I have never celebrated birthdays in my childhood and I never missed them. I am only thankful to God for this life," he added.
The actor says he personally opens each and every gift given by his fans from all over the world.
SRK says, "I sleep quite late so I open each and every gifts and cards given by my fans. My fans send gifts from Germany, Singapore,… but I am never busy for them."
The actor waved his hand to his fans who were eagerly waiting to catch the glimpse of the the actor outside Mannat.
