'Thenaliraman' music to take audience on time travel: Imman

Composer D. Imman hopes that the music of upcoming Tamil period-comedy "Thenaliraman" will take the audience on a time travel as he has created the sounds of 1960s and 1970s in the album.
"'Thenaliraman' audio is designed to achieve the sound of early 1960s and 1970's. Melody making and orchestration is set to the period with the mix and master of today's digital sound. This film's music did take me for a time travel and hope it does the same to the listeners too," Imman posted on his Twitter page.
The film marks the return of comedian Vadivelu in a lead role after a few years. He essays dual roles of King Sri Krishnadevaraya and folk hero Thenaliraman in the film.
Directed by Yuvaraj Dayalan, "Thenaliraman" also features Meenakshi Dixit, Manobala, Radha Ravi, Shanmugarajan, Santhana Bharati and Joe Malloori in important roles.
The film is slated for a summer release.
