The Wonder Woman sequel is set in the 1980s against the backdrop of the Cold War. Narcos star Pedro Pascal is set to join the DC universe as he will the joining the cast for Wonder Woman 2.

Patty Jenkins will be directing the sequel that also stars actress Gal Gadot as the Amazonian princess while Kristen Wiig will star as Cheetah, the film's villain. Details of Pascal's role are being kept under wraps.

Prior to Nacros, Pascal was best known for his role on Game of Thrones. Pascal has also worked in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. He will also be seen in the upcoming Equalizer sequel and J.C. Chandor's Triple Frontier.
