World Water Day

In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 22nd as World Water Day to highlight the importance of freshwater and promote the sustainable management of water resources. Since then, World Water Day has been celebrated every year, focusing on a different theme related to sustainability and water conservation. This day is significant because it raises awareness about the condition of water resources globally and encourages action to address urgent water-related challenges.
