Beijing: Wednesday, a seven month old Coronavirus patient discharged from hospital in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

The 7 month old baby was confirmed with novel coronavirus infection on February 3, and the hospital set up a special medical team to treat the baby. Everything was fine with the treatment and was discharged from hospital after recovery says Xia Pei, Deputy Party Secretary of Chongqing's health commission.

A total of 296 COVID-19 patients had been reported in Chongqing, with 254 discharged from hospital after recovery.
