Mitsanika reverses ageing

It’s a gene repair therapy that checkmates ageing, claims scientist Dr VK Tripathi
Lying in a bathtub for an hour with the right minerals can repair faulty genes in your body and cure almost any illness ranging from cancer to the HIV virus and other genetic disorders like diabetes, a city based scientist has claimed. In gene repair therapy a person has to soak oneself in mineral enriched water for over an hour. The minerals are absorbed through the skin and repair the genes affected by age and disease.
A research collaboration of Virtus Techno Innovations, a research and development company associated with Mumbai-based Khandelwal Laboratories, Reliance Life Sciences and SRL Ranbaxy, has succeeded in developing a novel nanotechnology-based Gene Repair Therapy (GRT) that can revolutionise treatments for various chronic diseases such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes etc. Apart from curing diseases, it can also help in reversing the ageing process.
Named as Mitsanika, the new GRT therapy activates dead or inactive genes in human body by using water as a medium to absorb the required minerals and metals that can rejuvenate and activate the genes.
The breakthrough was achieved through mimicking the experience of the fetus while floating in the amniotic fluid, said Dr V K Tripathi, chief executive officer of Virtus, who heads a team of 20 scientists who did the research on GRT for over 17 years.
The company has applied for patents not only for a gene repair therapy called Mitsanika, but for various other bio-engineering applications using nanotechnology in the US and a couple of other countries. Clinical trials for Mitsanika, conducted on 200 people led by Dr Ashok Vaidya, 85-yr-old eminent scientist have shown encouraging results. It addresses all the 9 pre-markers of ageing. “We have found substantial reduction in blood pressure, and significant improvements in patients suffering from cancer, diabetes and HIVAIDS,” says Tripathy, adding quickly: “This technique will not cure these diseases; it will only enable the body to fight them better by reactivating the immune system that had gone mute.”
